Haha^^ it's completely mine no adaptation at all I see what you mean with the front... even if I did not think too much about it. but now's too late to enhance it. and yep I'll take a look at your work
That boss looks kinda intimidating @___@ Nothing I can't handle though! The sprite is designed beautifully and I think the whole idea is great, the text on the front is easy to read and humorous too. I voted.
I think that the boss is too detailed for it to really be 8-Bit. There are a ton of pixels in there; way more than I ever saw in my old Mario games Don't get me wrong, I fucking love the graphic! It's just that I don't know if it really applies to the contest in that sense.
The purpose of the contest is not to be "true 8-bit" it just has to be pixelated (the theme is "8-bit inspired"). Even if I love old games I was more interested in doing something original, between old and new
Don't worry I read the rules carefully about that This is in the official terms : "8-Bit" for the purpose of this Design Challenge means a style that is pixelated. ... There is no official requirement on the total number of pixels, size of pixels, or color of pixels required for your original design. The term "8-Bit" is not intended in its technical, exact meaning and is used to evoke a design "look" inspired by 8-Bit designs. and thanks for liking it!
However, the typography looks very unaesthetic in my opinion. I hate to say it, but stroking any 8-bit text almost always looks bad. I can't say I like the choice of wording you decided to caption the shirt with. It doesn't really mean anything, or hold an ironic truth. I believe you'll do well in the contest regardless, but give my suggestions some thought, maybe someone higher up will notice!
